Although we close all of our Atlanta flower shop locations on Thanksgiving Day so that we and our staff can enjoy this special day with friends and family, we have been busy ahead of that preparing for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, three of the biggest shopping days of the year because of the great deals to be had. And, not only are we planning some special pricing promotions, but each of our stores will also have some great demonstrations, a showcase of our new holiday collection, and some great goodies. Plus, you will be able to meet with our floral design team to custom create anything festive for your home or office. Or, you can schedule time with our consultants for a winter wedding or Christmas party or event. We haven’t forgotten all of our customers who enjoy shopping online on their time. Thanksgiving Festivities in Atlanta

There are many fun, family-oriented events planned for the Thanksgiving holiday season. The first is the tree lighting in Lenox Square on Sunday, November 22nd at the Macy’s Department Store. The festivities begin at 6pm with live music followed by the rooftop tree lighting at 7pm. After the tree lighting, there will be a fireworks display set to music. On Thanksgiving Day, you can participate in the 2015 Atlanta Half Marathon and Thanksgiving Day 5K. Organized by the Atlanta Track Club, this event has become a Thanksgiving Day tradition with thousands of runners and volunteers. This rain or shine event is one of the most popular events in Atlanta during the Thanksgiving holiday. For the younger set, there is the 50m dash for ages six and under. This starts at 9:15am. Ages seven and up can participate in the one-mile race, which starts at 9:30. The half marathon is open to ages 14 and up and that starts at 7:30am. Make a Difference Day in Atlanta

Make a Difference Day is Saturday, October 24th, and this is an opportunity to do something for someone else. It can be helping them out but it can also involve raising money or contributing to a charity.
